Work Process:

The Panel Delivery Platform, hoisted along GBL’s vertical track guides, provides worker access to the Main Access Platforms, which remain parked at working height. While the man-rated U-shaped outer portion of the Panel Delivery Platform remains at working level, the inner nested Hoisting Carriage can then be lowered to grade where new panels are loaded and then hoisted back up to working level, where the U-shaped outer platform provides worker access to the newly delivered panels. The panels are then transferred to a continuous monorail system integral with the Main Access Platforms, for relocation and installation. GBL’s equipment allows this overcladding project to proceed without disrupting the building’s tenants – only after the outer curtainwall is complete will the original glass be removed from within.
